Dharamshala City Tour
After Breakfast enjoy your Dharamshala City tour. Visit International Cricket Stadium, State War Memorial (Entrance payable directly)- The picturesque venue is unique in India as it is situated at an altitude of 1,457 m above the sealevel and has the snow-capped Himalayan mountains in the background. The War Memorial is located near Stadium and in the pine forest of Dharamshala it was built to commemorate the memory of those who fought valiantly for the honor of their motherland. Later Visit Dal Lake, St John Church, Bhagsu Nath Temple, waterfall and Dalai Lama Temple Dal Lake Located at the height of 1775 mtr above the sea level, the Dal Lake is a small yet picturesque lake surrounded by rugged mountains and towering deodar trees and is a marvelous place to be at. Your Next stop is St. John Church is this Anglican church lies in the forest near Forsythe Gunj. This neo—Gothic stone church was built in 1852 and has some fine Belgian stained-glass windows. Later drive to Bhagsunag: This ancient temple is 2 kms from Mcleodganj. Close to this temple is a beautiful waterfall. The waterfall is present at a walkable distance from the Bhagsu temple and a perfect place to revel in the glories of nature and spend some quiet moments in peace and serenity. Your last destination is the Dalai Lama Temple: It is the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The Tibetan Government in exile has been here for almost four decades. The impressive monastery has larger than life images of the Buddha, Padmasambhava and Avalokteshwara. Now time is free to enjoy the Mcleodganj Market- Grab some souvenirs like Singing bowls, Jewelry, Buddha statues, Prayer flags, Prayer wheels, rugs, Handcrafted diaries, Local Tibetan handicraft, paintings, etc from the local market. Visit Palampur (35 Km)
After breakfast, Proceed to Palampur. Palampur is a quiet town situated on a plateau with the backdrop of dramatic Neugal Chasm and Bundla Stream Cutting across on the edge. Surrounded by Green tea Estates and forest of Pine. Enroute visit the famous temple of Shri Maa Chamunda Devi on the bank of Baner River. According to a legend, the Goddess Chamunda was enshrined as chief Goddess with the title of Rudra in the battle between demon Jalandhra and Lord Shiva which made this place famous as “Rudra Chamunda. Further proceed to Palampur and Visit Palampur Tea Gardens. The lush gardens are peppered throughout the town and make for a wonderful and memorable tour. Excursion to Khajjiar
Khajjiar also known as “Mini-Switzerland” of India. It is one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island. enjoy various sports activities like Zorbing, horse riding etc. at your own cost. (In case of heavy snowfall during winters, the road to Khajjiar will be blocked. In such a case you can still visit Khajjiar from an alternate route with an extra transport cost. Or you can visit nearby sightseeing Chamera lake with no additional price) Later drive back to Dalhousie and visit Panchpula, St Francis Catholic Church and Mall Road

Chamba is a medieval town situated at a little distance from the marvel of Dalhousie. It is beautifully nestled against an amazing backdrop of marvellous green hills and a pristine river. The local folklore and the mystical temples add to the unique charm of the place. An important tourist attraction in this town is the renowned ancient museum Bhuri Singh Museum. Here you will find a number of aesthetically adorned inscriptions, paintings as well as much more that reveal the ancient history of Chamba and its rulers. Another must-visit spot is the Old Palace or the Rang Mahal located within the district that houses the Himachal Emporium.
