: Cochin to Munnar - Arrival & Transfer

Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station, meet and assistance. Transfer to Munnar. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India's highest peak (Anamudi - 2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, On the way, visit Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls; both of these are seasonal attractions, along with tea plantations. On arrival at Munnar, transfer to the Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr(Nilgiritragus hylocrius) - the mountain goat of South India & Tea Museum . Major attractions in Varkala are Anjengo Fort, a national heritage monument built in the 17 th century by the Dutch to safeguard the coastline from foreign invasions. : Kovalam - Trivandrum Sightseeing

Start your day with a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum, (Thiruvananthapuram) literally means 'the abode of Anantha', the snake God. The main attraction of the city is the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Vishnu (also known as Padmanabha) reclining on the snake Anantha. The imposing gopuram (gateway tower) and intricate sculptures of the temple make it a very popular tourist attraction. Later visit Napier Museum, an art and natural history museum which houses a collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings.
